Does this sound familiar? Despite all of your ideas, you just can’t transform them into something more concrete. You have all of these fantastic dreams, and still you don’t get round to fulfilling them. I know, I’ve been there too, and it wasn’t till about a year ago that I began to experience some serious flow, meaning I’m actually manifesting what I create. This came about because I have faith in my divine guidance. Through this I give my all in everything I do, and I work with what I am given.

How do you feel about a day at the beach? Well, I can say I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, I absolutely hate wet sand between my toes, and I can never sit in the sun for very long, yet, on the other hand, there is so much for me to enjoy. For instance, the feeling of the surge tugging at me in the shallow water, the sensation of a sea breeze caressing my hair, and the freedom I experience while swimming under water. I especially love the latter, and take great pleasure in ‘floating in my own weightless, timeless world’.

I too have experienced the trials of self-denial, and I too have suffered and risen above it all. Therefore, witness my story of self-denial in this here sonnet.

Consider this for a moment. Our Earth is located in the solar system, which is located in the Milky Way, which is located in the Universe, which is located in the Cosmos. And then? What lies beyond the Cosmos? And where does that end? Hang on, where there’s an end there’s a beginning. Oh right, I can see it now: there are two little boys playing marbles in the backyard. One of their marbles is our Cosmos. The time needed for that one marble to bump into another marble is a few seconds. Speaking in terms of the boys’ planet, that is. Converted to Earth time: umpteen billion light years.

“Oh, dear Mary Magdalene, guide us, the disturbed, so we may envision life’s divine purpose once more.
